Wear What Makes You Feel Great

When you choose your wardrobe for your boudoir photoshoot, it’s important for you to pick outfits that make you feel good about yourself. If you don’t love what you’re wearing, you aren’t going to feel your best. Choose outfits that make you feel absolutely amazing inside and out!

Photographer Christine from Phoenix, Arizona says, “It’s so important to choose clothing based on how you feel in it and not based upon what you think you’re “supposed” to wear. Sexiness is measured in confidence! Choosing the right outfit will have a big impact on how you feel when your session day comes around and we want you feeling as fiercely yourself as possible.”

Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colors, materials, and styles until you find something that fits your personality. And don’t forget accessories! They can really help complete an outfit and make it stand out in photos.  If you need suggestions, we’ve created an outfit planner to help you visualize the perfect outfits for you!

Bring Props That Showcase Who You Are

Props are a great way to add variety and personality to your boudoir photoshoot. Whether it’s a favorite book or magazine, jewelry, flowers, or even a special gift from someone special—props can really bring out your unique style and showcase who you are as an individual. Props also help create different poses and backdrops that will make your photos look even more dynamic.

Bringing your own props is a great way to make yourself feel more at home and more comfortable during your boudoir photoshoot!

Relax and Go With The Flow

Relax and enjoy your experience! Your boudoir photographer will guide you into all the best poses to highlight your natural beauty. You don’t have to worry about all the little details – your photographer will pay attention to that! Your job is to relax, enjoy the experience, and go with the flow with the confidence that at the end you’ll have stunning boudoir photography that will last a lifetime.

Photographer Braeden from Norfolk, Virginia says “relaxing to me is when you are so aligned and in that mental state of just being at ease. Enjoying the experience and going with the flow go hand in hand to me. When there is something as little as standing in the grocery line or watching the hula show in Hawaii every part of it is an experience and no matter what you have to go with the flow to also enjoy life. It’s more enjoyable.”

So wear what makes you feel great, bring props that celebrate you and make you feel most comfortable, and relax and enjoy the experience. You deserve to feel as beautiful as you are and to create memories that will last forever!
